Reiki Energy

Universal energy is all around us. It is plentiful and endless. We act as the conduit, transferring that precious force into your body to encourage physical and mental healing and balance.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a non-invasive form of energy healing developed in early 20th century Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui. During a Reiki session, the recipient is fully clothed, though shoes may be removed if so desired. The hands of the practitioner hover slightly above the recipient, in the energy field that surrounds the body. Slight pressure may be applied to certain areas, but no movement of the hands on the body is involved. Reiki is not massage therapy, which is an entirely different modality.

Chakra Balancing

Chakras are the essential energy centers of the body, where our spiritual power lies. Below is a list of the seven chakras, their Sanskrit names, the color that represents them, their functions, and affirmations for each one.

~ Root Chakra (Muladhara): Color red - Represents safety, grounding, and trust. (I am)

~ Sacral Chakra (Svadhishthana): Color orange - Represents sexuality, sensuality, and creativity. (I feel)

~ Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura): Color yellow - Represents will power, self-confidence, and wisdom. (I do)

~ Heart Chakra (Anahata): Color green - Represents love, compassion, and forgiveness. (I love)

~ Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): Color blue - Represents communication, self-expression, and truth. (I speak)

~ Third Eye Chakra (Ajna): Color indigo - Represents awareness and intuition. (I see)

~ Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): Color purple - Represents spirituality, psychic abilities, and enlightment. (I understand)

Our chakras can become underactive, overactive, or blocked, which can lead to both mental and physical issues. Chakra balancing brings necessary equilibrium to your body and spirit.
