For two and a half years, beginning on Saturday, March 28, 2020, and ending on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, we offered free group distance Reiki sessions twice a week throughout the coronavirus pandemic. All were welcome to participate. During this time, we also provided individual distance Reiki sessions to focus on specific needs.

There were many of us who had either been diagnosed with the coronavirus, were caring for loved ones who were ill, or were simply anxious and overwhelmed by the situation. Distance Reiki provided peace of mind, even if we had unrelated issues.

This may lead to the question, “How does distance Reiki differ from ‘regular’ Reiki?”

Transcending Space

Did you know that you do not have to be in the physical presence of a Reiki practitioner to receive the benefits of Reiki? Distance Reiki is just as effective as Reiki given in person, and can be sent anywhere. To receive distance Reiki, it is ideal to find a quiet place where you can relax undisturbed. However, you can receive Reiki energy even while performing everyday activities.

When you schedule your appointment, you will be able to provide your location, and why you are seeking distance Reiki. I will also contact you at the beginning of the appointment to let you know that we are about to begin. This can take place via phone, email, or text. Following your appointment, I will email you a picture of the Reiki altar that I customized especially for your distance Reiki session.

Also, keep in mind that we will periodically have free distance Reiki sessions in the future, and will announce them as the time draws close.
